SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION



Bigfork Youth Center Summer Program 2026Get ready for a summer full of creativity, adventure, and real-world learning at Bigfork Youth Center! Our Summer Program is designed for children entering Kindergarten through 8th grade and provides full-day care in a safe, structured environment where kids are supported, engaged, and excited to show up every day.
We know summer childcare is a major need for families. That’s why we offer reliable, full-day care, nutritious meals, and meaningful programming all in one place.

🌟 Program Details📅 Dates: June 22 – August 14, 2026
🕘 Camp Hours: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Full-Day Care)
📍 Location: Bigfork Youth Center, 639 Commerce Street
💲 Cost:
• $225 per week (all-inclusive)
• Week 2 is FREE for all families
🍎 Included Daily:
• Nutritious meals (Breakfast and Lunch) & snacks
• Field trips & enrichment activities
• Outdoor play and structured programming
• Safe, supervised care for K–8

🎨 Art Camp (June 22–26)

• Gallery walk with local artists
• Watercolors, pastels, chalk & bubble art
• Slime making & natural dyes

Week 2 🛠️ DIY Discovery Week – FREE WEEK (June 29–July 3)
• Crochet, sewing & simple building projects
• Mock interviews & life skills 
• Gardening & cooking activities
• Real-world skills: conversations, phone calls, budgeting

Week 3🎭Imagination Camp (July 6–10)
• Create Costumes and Props
• Dance+Sing Karaoke Party
 
​Week 4 🎲 Game Camp (July 13–17)
• Sports, relay races & team games
• Board games, chess & card games
• Field day + water challenges

Week 5 💧 Water Week (July 20–24)
• Kayaking with Montana Kayak Academy
• Lake, river & beach days
• End-of-week water celebration at Sliter’s Park

Week 6🌲 Adventure Camp (July 27–31)
• Hiking, geocaching & nature exploration
• Lone Pine & Wayfarers field trips
• Fairy/gnome house building

Week 7 🧭 Survival Camp (August 3–7)
• Bear safety & wildlife awareness
• Fire building & outdoor cooking
• Map, compass & tracking skills

Week 8 🐞 Bug & Reptile Camp (August 10–14)
• Bug catching & habitat building
• Wildlife experts & science-based activities
• Field trips to local nature centers
