The Need

It costs an average of $1,200 per child a year to provide a quality after school and summer program. Support from donors, grants and the community is imperative in order to meet the needs of the children and sustain our program for the future.

The Facts

Bigfork Youth Center serves over 100 children at our site in Bigfork. Over 65% of our kids are eligible for the National Free and Reduced Lunch Program, which means they fall below the national poverty line. ALL kids receive after school care for free. The USDA reports that 1 in 5 Montana children experience hunger on a regular basis.  We feed the children a healthy dinner and snacks every day of our program.

The Solution

• Volunteer at the program. 
• Be an advocate and help create awareness for our program.
