After-School & Summer Programs for Kindergarten through 8th Grade
We are located in beautiful Bigfork Montana, right across from the bigfork elementary school.
What We Offer
📵Intentionally Screen-Light
Screens aren’t our default. Kids connect, create, explore and play, with technology used purposefully and sparingly when it adds to the experience. We don’t use television, computers or tablets simply to fill time.
🎨 Create & Explore
Art, STEM, building, hands-on projects and opportunities to discover something new. We also partner with local organizations, including the BACC, to connect kids with special activities and experiences throughout our community.
🏃 Get Outside & Play
Games, sports, outdoor adventures and plenty of time to simply be a kid.
🍎 Free Meals
We provide a hot meal after school and meals throughout summer camp—serving more than 20,000 free meals each year. As Bigfork's ONLY open kitchen, we create a space where any kid can come for a meal, any time we are open- no questions asked.

A safe place to land after the school day, with caring adults, friends, homework help and engaging activities.
☀️ Summer Camp
Eight weeks of field trips, swimming, outdoor adventures, creative projects, special guests, themed activities and unforgettable experiences.
💛 Accessible to Every Family
Our after-school program is donation-based, and no child is turned away because of a family’s ability to contribute.
Summer scholarships and reduced tuition help make camp accessible, too.
More Than Childcare
We don’t want kids to simply have somewhere to go.
We want them to belong somewhere.
Our programs are intentionally screen-light and built around relationships, creativity, play, responsibility and real-world experiences.
Our staff know our kids, encourage them to try new things and give them room to become more confident and independent.
Two Spaces --One BYC Community
Main Youth Center | Grades K–4
639 Commerce Street, Bigfork
Directly across from Bigfork Elementary School. Children are picked up AT school and walked over for afterschool care.
The Place | Grades 5–8
Our dedicated middle-school space on Grand Drive gives older kids a place designed specifically for them. We pick the kids up at school and bring them to this location.
