At Bigfork Youth Center, every child deserves a safe, welcoming place to learn, grow, and belong after the school day ends.
Our after-school program is donation-based, and no child is ever turned away because of a family’s ability to pay. We are committed to making high-quality after-school care accessible to every family in our community.
We pick up the BYC kids at the Bigfork Elementary School right when school lets out. We play outside for a bit, and then walk over for a meal together. After our bellies are full, we get into a fun activity. Kids are picked up, and repeat!!!
Each afternoon, students receive a hot, nutritious meal before participating in a variety of enriching activities designed to keep them active, creative, connected, and engaged. Activities may include:
New This Year: The Middle School CLUB Experience
This year, we are excited to debut a new CLUB experience for middle school students.
Middle schoolers are ready for more independence, choice, and responsibility. Our CLUB model will allow students to explore their interests through rotating clubs, special projects, leadership opportunities, career exploration, recreation, and real-world skill building.
Rather than simply attending after-school care, middle school students will help shape their own experience. They will have opportunities to choose activities, develop new talents, build friendships, mentor younger students, and become confident leaders in their community. A Place for Every Child
Whether a child needs a safe place while their parents work, a warm meal, homework support, positive friendships, or simply a place where they feel they belong, Bigfork Youth Center is here.
Families are encouraged to contribute what they can, but participation is never dependent on a donation. No child is turned away.
Together, we are creating a stronger community. One child, one meal, and one meaningful afternoon at a time.

- Outdoor recreation and games
- Homework help and reading
